I always feel that birks run big compaired to other brands. I wear a 7.5 in nike and I wear a 35 nerrow in Birks. Once you figure out your size this style and brand is great! I LOVE the platform. I feel just a little taller and I think the hight with the bulk of the shoe is a great look for summer. I can’t imagine going back to flatter style after this. I think they are slightly elevated style compaired to the platform reef, teva that is popular so I would wear them with a casual maxi dress. If you havn’t owned birkenstocks before know that they should NOT get wet. If you are looking for a pool shoe I advise you choose another option.

I ordered these hoping that when I used the last hole, they would fit. I have a AAA foot. These were too wide for me. When I made them the tightest possible, they were very uncomfortable. When they say narrow, they mean narrow, not slim. I was sad to return them.

I typically don’t wear shoes marked as narrow but really wanted to give these a go. They fit great! Love the little boost provided by the platform sole. The platform isn’t really noticeable visually but I do feel the extra height. Super comfortable right from the start!

So these are super cute and versatile. I have several other pairs of Birkenstocks and I love the footbed and really need the arch support. These however have much more of a flat footbed. Maybe it will mold to my arch over time but most birks I get I have to wear the arch down a bit before they fit perfectly. We shall see. I’m a little disappointed in them in terms of comfort at the moment for the price.

After reading the reviews, I decided not to order them because I really need the arch support. But last week I had lunch with my girlfriends and TWO of them showed up wearing these!! And raved about how comfortable they are!
As soon as I got home I ordered them, received them the next day, (Zappos are so quick in their delivery, wow!) and I too, absolutely love them. One of the reasons I appreciate them is because I was able to get them in narrow, my foot is not narrow, but Birkenstock’s narrow fit is perfect for me. I had read other reviews that said the footbed is hard, I don’t feel that they are. They are just so comfortable for me. I have lower back issues along with rheumatoid arthritis, so Birkenstocks are my go to shoe.
I was somewhat leary about them being vegan material and looking cheap, but they don’t look that way at all.
I ordered a 39 per usual and they fit just like every other pair I have of Birkenstock’s.
I also love the little platform!
I am very pleased with this purchase and plan on ordering another pair.

I was so hopeful that these would be a step above the other Birks I’ve worn but, they hurt my feet 🙁 I tried adjusting the buckles to see if that would help but no matter what I did they still hurt the tops of my feet something fierce. Other than that, the arch support was nice and the fact that they had platform support was a great option.

These shoes are SO STYLISH AND CUTE! Sadly, for me they just did not have the fit of my previous Birkenstocks. The vegan material was really stiff on both the upper and the footbed. The upper rubbed my toes and the footbed was hard. As cute as they are I had to return. If they ever make this style in a softer upper and a footbed that molds to your feet, I’ll be the first in line to buy. Please keep the style and make it in leather as well as vegan!!! I’m getting the Arizona Pap Chunky instead, similar look, slightly more casual but offers the traditional comfort expected with Birkenstock.

Love this new platform style. First time I purchase an Arizona in the narrow size (38) and these fit perfectly with better support for my one foot with plantar fasciitis Highly recommend if one is looking for a more modern style to the classic comfort shoe.

I am short 5’3” so the small platform in the Papillio by Birkenstock is perfect for a little added height! Grey color is very rich. Love the footbed hug of Birks. Highly recommend.

Loved these! The vegan footbed wasn’t as comfy as the suede one though so I opted to return. Otherwise they were a wonderful and more affordable option to the leather platforms which I just can’t bring myself to pay over $200 for.
