Gail –
I have other Birkenstocks and they fit better. Maybe this is my first unisex pair.

I AM A VIP WITH ZAPPOS AND NEVER EXPERIENCED A PROBLEM UNTIL TODAY. I RECEIVED THESE SHOES AND THEY WERE IN A BAG AND WORN, HEAVILY. I JUST CAN’T BELIEVE I RECEIVED WORN SHOES FROM ZAPPOS. PAID $150 FOR A PAIR OF USED SHOES THAT CAME IN A CLEAR PLASTIC BAG. NEVER HAS THIS HAPPENED.

Sent wrong size this time after sending a used pair.

I love a weird shoe, and thought these would be kind of funky and comfortable. I put these on and they looked like I was wearing a foot cast. All the layers of fabric also folded in on itself and made it so you couldn’t just slip your foot in like I was hoping.
Mimi –
At first they hurt my feet but after a few wears they look and feel nice!

I’m pretty sure they sent me a used pair or they’re fake. They came without a box or tag

I am not sure why these are so poorly rated – I really like them! Super comfy, cute and a nice variation of you want something other than the arizonas
Daniel –
Fit and size are perfect. The pair accommodate my feet the more I wear them.

Got these in a bag, which I thought was weird right away. Upon inspection they looked worn. The back of the footbed was worn in, but I thought maybe it was the way the item was stocked or something. Well, I was going to put them on and once I opened the straps, There is a clear footprint in the bed of the sandals. Paying retail for a brand new product and getting a used one is crazy!

I am very happy with this sandal. I wanted a new comfortable house shoe and it fits the bill. I read a review that said it looks like a foot brace, and I would have to agree that it is not the most attractive shoe, but the quality and comfort is definitely there! The only thing is with the leather and Velcro, I can not easily “slide” into them, but overall perfect for what I wanted them for.

It feels very luxurious. It is very much a dependent of the original Birk sandals expect it has been rendered so glove like with the the extra layer of softness to better cradle the upper part of each foot. Love ’em for quick on and off to go outside and get a few things done.

I am in love with this style, and have been told I should try Birks due to my over pronation – great, I’m game with this modern style! The problem, however, was that despite the *JUST* perfect fit for most of my foot (which – if this is size 10/10.5 then it should have been ‘comfortable’ not *just* perfect) – my third toe sticks out of the shoe, and because the shoe is formed with that raised outer edge, I can tell this would create an issue in the long term – it’s fairly evident just trying it on. Huge bummer, because I really do like it. I imagine I’ll need a 42, which is certainly not available here, and generally hard to find in the women’s sizes (i.e.: the narrow/medium width – which was a great fit). I’ll see if I can find a 42 and try anyway – maybe I get lucky.
