The size is half size larger. The sole feel comfortable. The width is wide for medium width. Wish that shoes is true to it size

Perfect…I feel awesome wearing them. I have some issues with tingling and numbness in my feet, and I feel safe and secure wearing these.

I also have a pair of the Bend leather shoes and their soles are such soft rubber that I thought I would try this one. I got the same size and in this style it felt huge. My feet were slipping around in it. I dont want to get too small of a size because it will change where the arch hits but I think I would need to go down a full size to feel secure in the shoe. Disappointed

I was disappointed in the size of these shoes. I have worn size 39 for years and this pair was so big I could put my whole finger behind my heel. Not sure if this pair was mis sized or what if what.

I normally wear a 39 in Birkenstocks. They were enormous! I tried the 38 and couldn’t even get my foot in.

So the stars assigned are odd because this shoe was HUGE in my normal size so could only assume they were unisex? Haven’t worn Birkenstocks in many years and even then they were the Arizona style. This is my first experience with their shoes so not sure what to expect. Have the next size down on order but they have been delayed so stay tuned. I have hard-to-fit wedge shaped feet with the need for a M heel but W toebox. I use orthotics as needed depending on the shoe although I used to use them all of the time. Will keep you posted!

Can’t figure out how this shoe is supposed to fit. Have owned many pairs of Birkenstocks in the past and these shoes seem to fit more like sandals. As it the size 39 which is my usual Euro sized footwear (Ecco, Wolky) this shoe was HUGE. The size 38 finally arrived thanks to CS at VIP Zappos after having been lost in transit (highly unusual for Zappos in all my years of buying from them), but it, too feels like a sandal that wants to be a shoe! The footbed feels like a Birkie, the length sort of feels right this time, and shoes seem nicely made but overall my feet, even even clad in heavy woolly socks, felt overwhelmed. I have wedge-shaped feet with narrower heels and wider toe spread and was hoping for a round toed “feel” at least but felt no support along the sides and heels and too much room in the toebox. Thanks, Team Zappos, for all of your efforts in getting my feet into Birkenstock shoes! The winner in my search for slipon shoes is Merrell Pros after trying too many other brands! Will review those soon!

After a delivery glitch which was quickly corrected by the Zappos Crew once informed about it, a size 7-7.5 version of this shoe was sent. I was hopeful but this turned out just as quirky a fit as the size 8-8.5 in my previous order. In fact, it seemed even larger in volume despite being the right length. No way to judge the comfort really despite the fact it was a lovely-looking and nicely made shoe. Must be a unisex fit! Unfortunately, despite great service once again from Zappos, this one had to be returned.

I usually wear a 6.5M, so I was surprised that these 6-6.5s were too big to wear without socks. Also, these seemed heavy for the style. I’m looking for lighter weight shoes for travel, so returned these.

I ordered one size smaller than I do in all Birkenstocks and they were still really wide and big. Not a true Birkenstock fit.

I’ve always loves my Birkenstock sandals so I thought that I would try one of the shoes. Maybe I didn’t pick a good style for me as the shoes felt wide and had no sole. I really wish that there was a toe bar on the sole.

These are great shoes, but didn’t work for me. My feet are very flat and the elastic allowed my foot to roll inward too much. I really wanted them to work, and was so disappointed.

Very cute and comfortable. They felt about a half size larger than my usual size so I did end up returning them.
