I bought these for my 8 year old granddaughter. They are beautiful Birkenstock quality. She was very excited to get her first pair of Birkenstocks! The problem is the strap between the great toe and its neighbor toe. It is too far back on the footbed for a child’s foot. This forces her foot backwards in the footbed and leaves at least half an inch of empty footbed in front of her toes. There is a similar style without the strap between the toes, but it is not a slip on style.

My daughter absolutely loves these sandals, and I’m hoping that they will be sturdy and not wear out like cheaper sandals.

They fit true to size a was on sale so know I know to size up when getting my daughter the white ones. This way she can have a little room.
