This is a really nice boot. Please note that “No Arch Support” if NOT negative! I think that is a good thing. I love that it is all leather inside, which is SO much more comfortable than some sort of fiber or goretex lining that grabs your socks as you walk. The fit was very good – I wear a 11 to 11.5 womens, usually buy 9.5 to 10 mens because of very wide feet. These were great. Three things I didn’t like. All the lacing holes, up to the top required the lace be threaded through, instead of the top two being hooks, so they were time consuming to get on and off. The cork insoles were not the traditional Birkenstock style with the toe grips and suede finish. They were cork, and they were nice, but no toe grips and not as deep of a heel cup, and a smooth surface allowed for a little sliding unless laced super tight. I’m not sure, but I think overall the heel area-including the insole was perhaps 2 to 4 mm higher than the forefoot and maybe that is why the tendency to slide a bit. I usually wear barefoot style/zero drop shoes and sliding just doesn’t happen with them. And, I wasn’t sure about comfort around the ankles. I think it would have been fine after wearing them a little because the leather was beautiful, but at the price I didn’t want to chance that along with the lacing and insole issues. But, if you are okay with the insole and lacing, you are bound to like these boots! At a much lower price, I would probably have kept them, or if they had the traditional insole, I would have put up with the lacing. They really are nice boots.

Really cute but run really small.
Also don’t purchase from Zappos just to try on they will treat you like a criminal if you do it too many times (this did not play into my reviews)
