Birk’s Soft Footbed is Awesome!!!
Try these even if you already have a pair of regular Birks! These are super comfortable right away, yet offer the same support.
I love this style, and find them easier to walk longer distances in because of the 3 footstraps.

Very comfortable but takes getting used to –
I wore a larger size int his than my usual; it’s important to make sure your toes don’t reach the outer edge. Also it takes a while to get used to the loose fit. But it was my favorite sandal within 24 hours; that footbed is really, really comofrtable!

Great shoe –
I have tried the Birkenstock clog type shoes, and they did not feel good on my feet, but this sandal gave me no problems at all. I was walking five miles in them shortly after I started wearing them without any problems. The shoe stays on my feet and I never feel like I’m going to walk out of them no matter if I’m on a flat, hilly or bumpy surface.

The Comfort of Birkenstocks –

I own over 15 pair(s) of “BIRKS” – The Florida is the one I choose if I am going to be inside and outside all day long. It is perfect for the Florida temperature. Your foot is very secure with the three(3) straps that you can adjust to your needs. I wear a narrow in all BIRKS. I wish that Birkenstocks would offer more “SOFT BED.”

I own these with the brown soft suede straps and they are THE BEST sandals I have ever had. They are super comfortable and very stylish. The three straps add a little something extra. Everyone loves my Birks, I highly recommend these.

Florida review –
I have an extremely hard foot to fit. Most shoes are too wide with not enough arch support. These feel great. They are my first pair of Birkenstock’s but not my last….I’ve already ordered another style and hope they will be as comfortable!

Birkenstocks are really high comfort shoes, the only time that they’re not is when you’re breaking them in…but that only takes a couple days…I LOVE my red ones and they were worth the dollars + free shipping! You’re doing yourself a favor by getting a pair! Also I would recommend getting a narrow fit because they will stretch.

These sandals are extremely comfy, right out of the box! The leather is beautiful. Something to note with Birkenstocks, I usually wear a 9 1/2 shoe. However, in the Birkesnstock sandals, I wear a 39 (8-8 1/2).

I normally love my Birks, but I was a bit disappointed in this pair. It was the first time I purchased the soft footbed type, and I will not be purchasing them again. I have very high arches that need tons of support and these are not cutting it for me, unfortunately. My feet have begun to hurt and I’ve actually switched back to my old pair for now until I can buy a new “regular” footbed pair. But, I will say – these would be perfect for those with a lesser arch who find the regular footbed too unforgiving. I found them to be very comfortable right out of the box, just not enough support (for me) over time.

OH MY GOODNESS! The softbed is a delight to walk in. I have had several pairs of Birkenstocks and always just expect to ‘break in’ the arch to my exact foot. It was like putty around the arch and bottom of my food. I will ALWAYS buy the softbed from here on out! To top it off, the oiled finished is so nice looking. I am very happy and would totally recommend this style and sandal to anyone on the fence! GOOD LUCK! Happy Shopping!

These are beautiful in both the stark Habana and muted Tobacco. I wish the latter was a bit richer but hopefully they will become so with wear. In Chaco, Keen, and Merrell I wear an 8 but I needed a 38 in these. The 39 had too much space past my big toe and when I placed my heel properly in the cup my toes did not settle on the toe arch comfortably. I have long 2nd and 3rd toes making my foot about 242mm. The narrow may have been better for my thin foot but did not get to try it. I typically live in my Chacos all summer but I needed a change and these are very comfortable! AND Zappo’s is absolutely the BEST! If I could afford to I would shop here for all my shoes.

Birkenstocks have been my “go to” for sandals and clogs for the last 20 years (due to back surgery and wide feet). The new sizing combo for regular/wide is just slightly narrower than the old sizing. It actually measures smaller. Wish they’d bring back the old sizing!

These don’t look quite as cute on my feet as I was hoping, but I’m at the point where comfort is more important. They aren’t hideous, and when I get my first pedicure of the season, I’m sure the looks of the feet in the sandals will improve quite a bit. The straps are stiff and will take some time to break in, so I’m wearing them around the house like slippers. I haven’t worn them to walk around out of the house, so I’m not sure how much the straps will bother me, but I can adjust them while I’m figuring all of that out.
I have about three pairs of Mayari Birks from previous seasons, which I love and wear all spring and summer. I wish they made the soft footbed in that style. That’s the reason I bought these. They will go into the Birk rotation. I will wear the Mayari when I need a cuter more feminine look, and these Floridas when I’m going to be on my feet more.
I have a variety of foot problems including being flat footed, pronation, plantar fasciitis, swelling, and overall pain. Birks give me the opportunity to not stay stuck in running/walking shoes all summer, and still have the support I need. It sucks getting old. It’s not for wimps.

Was a little hesitant about this shoe. In Birks I’m normally a narrow. Wasn’t quite sure how the regular width would fit and completely planned on returning. They actually fit perfectly. Two of the straps are on the tightest setting and the other one is on the second to tightest setting (crazy, right). Still breaking in the leather. Glad I went with this pair. I think I like better than the Arizona.

These are very comfortable on me, I have very nigh arches and I love the way the bed forms to my foot. The three straps are stylish and secure. My normal size is a 7.5 I ordered a 38 and they fit perfect. Cute for work, and I walk on my lunch in them and have no problem with sore feet.

I absolutely love these shoes! They are my first pair of Birkenstocks and I am thoroughly impressed. I was a little bit worried that I wouldn’t get the right size because I wanted them to fit a certain way but the size I got, size 9 to 9 1/2, was perfect for me. They were a little stiff when I first got them but then they started molding to my foot the more I wore them. It’s day four and they feel really good.
I would definitely recommend the shoes to anyone wanting a good sandal. The leather is nice and thick and it’s trimmed very well there’s no rough edges. The buckles have the logo “Birk” , and a tarnished look, it fits with the rest of the shoe. The foot bed is nice and soft like the suede is very soft, but the footbed for these aren’t as soft as I thought they were going to be but they’re nice and supportive. The blue logo printed on the foot bed rubs off as well as the brown from the suede, it’s minor and I think eventually it will stop. I have also gotten them a little wet here and there and they dry up in like five minutes and there’s no staining or anything which is awesome.
Overall these shoes are great I would recommend them, I have very flat feet and these don’t hurt my arches because they mold to your foot. I will be buying more styles ! Thank you Birkenstocks and Zappos !

I tried a couple pair of the Arizona style but the space under my toes bothered me. No problem with that on the Florida style it’s lower. I got the Tobacco Oiled Leather color!
