I recently had bunion surgery and Birkenstock were the only sandal my doctor would let me wear. I found these and I am very pleased with them. They are very comfortable and for the support I need the style is nice. I will be buying more stuff from Zappos, delivery was quick and the price was the best I found.

These Birkenstock sandals are the closest fit to wearing my orthodics. They are comfortable, and I even took them in so my chiropractor could evaluate them. He gave me the go ahead when not wearing my orthodics. I love them. No backache or tiredness in my legs. Super.

I have wide feet with high arches and I love these sandals! They were stiff at first but broke in within a week or two. Now they’re like sponges that contoured to my feet. I thought the toe area of my usual size was too long so I got 1 size smaller and my toes go right up to the edge but my toes can grip better. They’re cute too!

I have been wearing Birkenstocks for 12 years now. I cannot wear anything else. I originally got them on the advice of my foot doctor. I had planter fasciitis, a cyst, and three neuromas. I have had no problems since! The arch support is fantastic! The soft footbeds are well worth a little extra money, too. I do wear both regular and soft footbeds though. For me, Birkenstocks run a full size larger so I always get the women’s size 38 (7) instead of 39 (8) that I would normally wear. Zappos – what can I say? They provide fastest delivery in the world! I ordered mine around 4:30 in the afternoon and had them at my door the next day at 10:15!

I have worn this style for 10 years. I do buy half a size smaller than my normal shoe size so that the arch hits in the correct spot on my foot.

Wonderful shoes! As with all Birkenstock, you have to break them in, but once you do, they are by far the most comfortable shoes you’ll ever wear — and they’re good for you too!

Issues with Plantar Fasciitis, loss of fat pad on bottom of foot and flexible flat foot with a very high arch. While I wish these were softer, they are the best I have found for all of my issues.

I replaced my 35-40 year old same type of Birks! I wear an 8-8 1/2, so they run a little large, the size 38 (7-7 1/2) fit perfectly! Wonderful to have new ones!

I discovered Zappos about a year ago and love it! I have made several orders, I always get exactly what I want and when I found something they did not have – they put my order in and “waited” for it to become available and shipped it immediately before it became out of stock again. There are no better shoes for your feet than Birkenstocks! I have had knee replacements and I find these shoes to be the most comfortable and best supportive. They really positions your knees perfectly.

I have worn Birkies for years, but this time I thought I would try the soft footbed version & I just love them! So much, in fact, that I bought another pair just like them. When I was younger the regular sandal was fine, but as I’ve gotten older the extra cushion on the footbed is wonderful.

I like these shoes, but the insole was described as “soft” which it is not. Also, the arch feels like a giant rock. I suppose they take getting used to? I’ve worn Birkies before and don’t remember the arch being so high.

These shoes are awesome. I love the soft footbed. These are probably the most comfortable pair of shoes that I own. I am considering ordering another pair in a different color.
They do run a little large. I normally wear a US size 8 which is a Euro size 39, but I wear a size 38 in these.
I would also give Zappos 5 Stars for Customer Service! 🙂

I took these out of the box and the first thing I saw was the imprint of someone else’s foot so back in the box they immediately went. I understand these are sandals, but common sense would be to try them on with socks to see how they work out, not walk around for days barefoot and then expect the next person to keep them. Very disappointed, that’s why when I placed my order, it said “only one in stock” obviously.. they were worn and returned. Lesson learned.

I. Love. These. Shoes. These are, hands down, my most worn pair of shoes. When buying Birkenstocks, I was debating between the soft footbed and the regular (I have both styles). Wow! The soft footbed is amazing. I’m so glad I took a chance. These fit like a dream and, for me, are doctor approved. I have problems with my arches that require me to have rather large orthotics. The doctor said that if I wasn’t wearing my orthotics or going barefoot, Birks are the shoes she’d recommend. I am VERY pleased with my purchase and would (and have!) recommend them to others!

I actually went twice to a local shoe store to purchase a pair of Birkenstocks. They did not have my size in any style I liked either time I went. I was measured for the shoe though and the size that what was suggested for me to purchase was actually a little smaller than I usually buy. I don’t know if that changes what size others would purchase, but thought I’d mention it. Shoes are so comfy, and have really helped relieve the foot pain I have had for some time. Quick shipping was a bonus. I was so happy to finally get the shoes I wanted in the size and style!
