Funny, I’ve been wearing Birkenstocks for years, always a 39R, including the Florida style. This is the first time ever, but the strap over my instep was too tight, even at the longest adjustment. I do have very high arches, but this is the first time this has happened to me with any Birkenstock sandals.

This is not a ‘soft footbed’ shoe!!! I know that there is some break-in period associated with Birkenstock shoes, however, it will take a really, really long time to break these in.

I bought these for my granddaughter and she was thrilled!! They are not only cute, comfortable but simply adorable (she says). During this virus ‘crisis’ I thought she could use some fun-the name of them is Florida and that’s the trip the family WAS taking! Being in school at this time is not fun for anyone! A ‘needed lift’ :). It made ME as happy as her!!

These are titled Soft Footbed, but the white ones I got were not the Soft Footbed. That was a disappointment.

‘Soft foot bed’ did not feel as soft in this pair. I didn’t prefer the look or fit of the three skinny straps. I kept the silver, birko-flor, thick 2-strap (Arizona) in narrow, even those are a bit too narrow for my moderately wide foot – they were just so much more comfortable. As usual Birkenstock size 37/6-6.5 fit my 7.5-8 foot.

This is the second time I have ordered the Florida in white. The first time I received a pair with the standard cork footbed instead of the soft footbed as described. I decided to try once more since they are still listed as having a soft footbed. They do not. So sad. I love the Florida with the soft footbed and was looking forward to the white.

This is my first pair of Birkenstock’s. Extremely comfortable right out of the box.
Straps adjustment makes for a custom width fit and there is a soft fleece lining to the straps as well.

I own several Birkenstock Florida sandals and love them. I wear a a US size 9 in other brands but wear the EU 39 in these sandals and they fit my feet perfectly. I like that these have three straps that can be customized to fit my foot and that they don’t slip off or make a slapping sound when walking.

I am SO happy I decided to go with this Florida model over the Arizona. I feel they fit me so much better and feel a lot more comfortable. I’ve had a couple pairs of Arizona’s through the years that I’ve tried really hard to make work but they just never fit right (I’ve tried different sizes and different width combos to no avail). The Florida’s fit my feet so great! I am a size 6 typically in US sizing and the 36 fit me great. I love the white color, they are so summery and versatile and look great with every outfit. Very very happy with my purchase and as always Zappos makes shoe buying online so easy!

I have tried to keep these, but even the narrow is too wide. The leather is also not as soft as I would have expected. They go back and no more Birks for me.

I typically wear an 8.5-9. I ordered a 39 and they fit perfect. I had to tighten the buckles a notch or two so they don’t slide around. I have a normal arch and the support is there but not too high. These are not the soft bed and they’re definitely much harder than I was expecting but overall conformable! Super cute too!

To start, I have about 5 pairs of these sandals! They are the easiest going, most comfortable shoes i own. I am a size 7 in every other brand, but this brand I order the 37 (fits perfect)!

I have VERY flat wide feet and used to suffer from plantar faciatis so I am very particular about what shoes I wear. Birkenstocks have been a live saver over the years with shoes I can’t wear my inserts in. Their sandals and slippers are what I live my life in! These particular sandals are really cute and feel just as comfortable as every other Birkenstock I’ve purchased over the last 10 years.

Love the Floridas. Three straps = more adjustability to ensure they stay on my feet. I prefer the original (hard?) Birks foot bed, so I was happy to find these (and in a B width, too).

Always a good shoe but does take a few weeks to get the broken in. Wish they were a little cheaper in price- but you get what you pay for.
