LOVEEEE! I saw this patent version of the classic Arizona’s and knew I needed them. The sheen gives off just enough extra oomp for them to look a little dressy they are comfy as all Birkenstock’s are. The color is a great neutral I see myself wearing these all summer!

In other shoes, I am a size 6.5-7.0, but I ordered a 6.0-6.5 so I put “fits large” in the review! I had a feeling Birkenstocks run big, even though this is my first pair. I’d absolutely suggest ordering down! I love them and am very happy with how they fit and look!

I had my eye on these singular Birkenstocks for their understated elegance and summery feel, but when they weren’t available in my size, I foolishly went for a different style of Birkenstocks in a size 38, which is the size I always take in European shoes like Camper and American shoes like Naot. But the 38 in the Birkenstocks – the khaki natural soft Arizona – managed to give me blisters and make me pretty uncomfortable in spite of my best efforts to break them in slowly and tell myself that my diabetic feet were better off in a too large shoe over a too small shoe. A German friend who used to work at Sigerson Morrison and is a Birkenstocks aficianado shook her head when she saw my foot (I didn’t dare show her the quite horrible blister that formed under one toe as my foot kept rubbing back and forth) – and I was reluctant to spend more money – I didn’t want to ask Zappos to take back a shoe I had already worn outside, albeit around the corner but still – but when these beige patent leather shoes came back into stock, I took a leap of faith and felt instant comfort and delight. I haven’t even had to go through a break in period, and apart from my kind of messed up blistery toe – I never had a blister in such an unfortunate place – I am adoring these and finding them snug to my foot and perfect. Every time I catch sight of the white sole and patent leather straps – the patent leather is so much more comfortable than I’d imagined – I feel light, and my feet feel well secured yet flexible and able to move on city streets, maintaining enough of a distance from the sidewalk to feel less gnarly about spotting the occasion urban unmentionable bug or rodent – and yet my toes are free and oxygenated and these are just really happy shoes, what can I say. Just that I took a full size down from my usual European sizing. I’m a 7.5 and took a 37 rather than 38 and it’s a perfect fit. Highly recommend and I’m a big fan of Zappos for all kinds of reasons for a very long time – their selection and their return policies and fair prices make the shopping experience easy and satisfying.

I was happy with the fit and the style. Also was grateful that the leather was softer than expected. I need to break them in a bit still, but they are perfect for sun dresses and errands. I like the look of these. Thank you Zappos for excellent customer service and variety of choices.

I love the Arizona sandal. I bought two of the patent leather, the beige and Green. I decided to keep the beige. It’s a beautiful neutral color. I returned the green; I was hoping that the green was more olive, but it was too muted. You can never go wrong with Birkenstocks once you break them in; you won’t wear any other sandals.

Narrow 42 always fit my size 11 foot great. Love the tan patent. You don’t see this color and has gold trim. Great look.

I’ve been wearing these for many years and these are cutest Birks I’ve owned so far. The brand runs large in general so I size down. Hoping the patent leather will hold up better than the suede did on my last 2 pairs.

Perfect shoe and fit. I love the purple fog color. I originally wanted them in the white color but couldn’t find them, so I chose these instead. The patent leather is easy to clean and they look so cute!! I don’t have what I’d call a narrow foot and they fit me perfectly. Also the customer service is unparalleled at Zappos! I own several pairs of Birkenstock sandals and thought this pink would be so cute. They are hideous!! They look like plastic jelly shoes from the 80’s. I did not expect them to be so shiny and cheap looking.

I ordered the narrow, which fit beautifully in another Birkinstock model. These are still too wide. The front buckle is deceptive; it’s impossible to use the last hole. Therefore the front section is a little loose, and and arch is in an odd spot. I decided to keep these but I may regret it; they are not crazy-comfortable like my Salinas are; it seems those are no longer made.

These sandals are so cute. I love the big buckles. I’m a Birkenstock gal and I have several pairs. I was concerned the patent leather would be too shiny and look fake, but it doesn’t. My only issue with these sandals is the patent straps are stiffer than other Birk materials and they rub against the top of my feet. It’s very irritating and uncomfortable. Hopefully it will get better as I wear them more.

This is my first pair of Birkenstocks and while I was a little hesitant to spend so much on a sandal, I’m very happy I did! They give me Barbiecore vibes like the ones Margot Robbie wore in the movie and I love them! Very comfortable and didn’t need a break in period. I think I’ll be buying more of this style again in the future.

I am a long time Birk owner with many (too many if there is such a thing!) pairs. I love the look and feel of this pair. I saw the review saying they were cheap looking that is patent leather! They are super cute and different than the usual kind of boring (sorry but…) Birk colors.
