The look of the shoe is fun and I love the black sole, but the larger buckle changes where the shoe meets your foot and it’s not comfortable where the extended area of the strap meets my foot. Sadly – these will go right back.

The huge buckles on these made my large size 41 feet look even bigger! Also the gold was very shiney on the buckles and the leather and I would’ve preferred matte. Returning these for these reasons but the fit was super comfy in a narrow so I’m going to try another color in the Arizona fit.

While I love the look of this Birkenstock with the large buckles, they are just terribly uncomfortable. I own two other pairs of Arizona, one with the soft footbed, and there is no comparison. This footbed felt so much harder than my other Birks, and there is no way I could handle any break-in period with these. Furthermore, they felt more narrow than my others, and I can’t figure out why that would be. Disappointed to be returning these.

I have wider feet and the narrows fit me well. Just a FYI for those with narrow feet. Straps can be adjusted though.

I made a grave mistake ? these look like elf slippers in the green color. And the quality is super cheap, there was green all over the cork and the sandal felt like dollar store sandals. Didn’t live up to my expectations to be honest, especially for $150usd.

The fit and size were fine. I have peripheral neuropathy and was hopeful that these shoes would be as wonderful as I remember them in years past. The shoes are great, my feet are a problem and the pain caused by the ridges in the soles is indescribable…again, not the shoe but my feet.

Purchased pre Barbie movie and they are my first pair of Berks! Love them! They are a bit stiff at first due to the leather, but broke in well. I receive so many compliments on them. They can be dressed up or casual because of the gold buckles. Money well spent!

Absolutely gorgeous sandal.I’ve had to size up in Birkenstock lately so got these in 39N. Wish the came in soft footbed but the smooth leather footbed is luxurious. Very comfy and nice looking. I wear an 8.5 med and the 39 narrow fits well. If you like more room for front of foot try size down and reg width. I can wear 38 regular width in Birkenstock too.

The fit and size are good but the footbed is hard (different from the original) and hurt toe area when walking.

Super-comfortable, like all the Birks I own. But these took a few more days to break in. The large buckle felt surprisingly heavy on the top of my foot, and I was afraid the leather underneath would create blisters. But everything softened up and now feels great. Kind of magical.
Also, I have very big feet (10-11), and so I was concerned Birks would make that very apparent. But the opposite is true; the straps and buckles break up the line of my feet, making them look smaller (or at least normal size for someone 5’3 😉

These shoes do not have the typical cork bed bottom so they tend to stick to the arch of my feet and create a suction when I walk. Of course, when stepping down then, the air is expressed – making an embarrassing sound. I should have returned them, but waited too late. These mostly sit in the box. I wish I knew how to resolve the problem because they are super cute shoes.

No lie, I picked these up in store on the sale rack in shoes. They were a steal, a perfect fit, and great color. I’ve been looking at Birkenstocks for a while and they were recommended by my podiatrist as one of the few sandals she would allow me to try following treatment. I know the breaking-in period is going to be rough but I love the support they offer already.

Ordered my usual size in the narrow option and the sandals fit just fine as the buckles are adjustable. So need to be worried if your size in regular width is sold out – go ahead and order narrow and you’ll be fine. I have wider width feet – not slim by any means.

I’ve had at least 10 pairs of Birks. I wear a 10 narrow… so a 41 in Birks… and narrow if it’s available. These big buckle style fit my width perfectly.
